Veronica was developed by Steven Foster and Fred Barrie at the Universtity of Nevada, and it helps you in finding information inside of 'gopherspace', without doing a menu-by-menu search. It allows keyword search on more than 1300 Gopher servers.

You can access Veronica service from most Gopher server or from the 'Other Gopher servers...' branch.

To search for something, you have to type a keyword (or more keywords): the search is not case sensitive.

The veronica server will return a Gopher menu composed of items whose titles match your query. Items can be accessed as with any Gopher menu.

You can use boolean operators and, or and not.

"*" is the wildcard character. It can replace any other character or characters at the end of a keyword.
