Hash functions |
MD2, MD4 and MD5 These hash functions developed by Rivest (1989-90-91) take a message of arbitrary length and produce a 128 bit message digest. Description and source code can be found inside of the RFCs 1319-1321. SHA and SHA-1 SHA stands for Secure Hash Algorithm. It was developed by NIST as specified in the SHS (Secure Hash Standard) and it is a part of Capstone project. This algorithm take a message (less than 2^64 bits of length) and produce a 160 bit message digest. |
