- delete the binary attachment associate with the selected messages (Delete Selected Binary Attachments)
- save selected messages to a text file(Save Messages As)
- insert a text file into a message (Insert Text File)
- compact all databases to decrease disk usage (Compact Databases)

Edit 
This is the Edit menu. Here you can: - cut the selected text to the clipboard (Cut or Ctrl+X)
- copy the selected text to the clipboard (Copy or Ctrl+C)
- paste text from the clipboard (Paste or Ctrl+V)
- paste text as a quoted text from the clipboard (Paste as Quote or Ctrl+Q)
- delete the selected text (Delete or Del)
- select all items in the reader or all text in the window (Select All or Ctrl+A)
- search for a text string in messages (Find or Ctrl+F)
- search for the next instance of the text (Find Next or Ctrl+G)
- apply the ROT13 coding to the selected text (Apply ROT13 or Ctrl+R)
- copy the next URL in the text to the clipboard (Copy WWW URL or Ctrl+U)
Online 
This is the Online menu. Here you can: - retrieve new message headers for all subscribed groups (Get New Headers in Subscribed Groups)
- retrieve new message headers for selected groups only (Get New Headers in Selected Groups)
- retrieve the bodies for all marked messages in all groups (Get Marked Message Bodies)
- retrieve the bodies for all the selected messages (Get Selected Message Bodies)
- get the most recent headers for the selected groups (Get Sample Headers From Selected Groups)
- get all available headers for the selected groups (Get All Headers in Selected Groups)
- ignore all new messages for the selected groups (Catch Up With Selected Groups)
- send all queued messages (Post Usenet and Email Messages)
- retrieve new groups created since last check. If you have never retrieved groups by means of Free Agent, this operation will take some minutes. So be patient, because you have to download all groups handled by the news server you are connected to. You have to consider that there are more than 40000 groups while I'm writing (but this number is increasing continuously). Besides remember that downloading will take more time if you are using a public news server, but it will take less time if you are using your ISP's news server (Get New Groups)
- refresh the complete list of groups (Refresh Groups List)
- stop all online tasks (Stop All Tasks)
- toggle online state if you are offline (Online)
Post 
This is the Post menu. Here you can: - post a new Usenet message (New Usenet Message or P)
- respond to a selected message (Follow-Up Usenet Message or F)
- create a new email message (New Email Message)
- send a private email to reply to the selected message (Reply via Email)
- forward the selected message via email (Forward via Email)
Navigate 
This is the Navigate menu. Here you can: - view the selected message (View This Message or Enter)
- view the next unread message (View Next Unread Message or Ctrl+N)
- view next unread message in thread (View Next Unread Message in Thread or Ctrl+T)
- view next unread message body (View Next Unread Message Body or Ctrl+B)
- skip to next unread message (Skip to Next Unread Message or N)
- skip to next unread message in thread (Skip to Next Unread Message in Thread or T)
- skip to next unread message body (Skip to Next Unread Message Body or B)
- skip to first new message in the next group that has new messages (Skip to Next Unread Group or S)
- skip to the previous message (Up To Previous Message or U)
- skip to the next message (Down To Next Message or D)
- zoom the current window (Zoom Window or Z)
- expand the selected thread (Expand Thread or +)
- expand all threads (Expand All Threads or Shift +)
- collapse the selected thread (Collapse Thread or -)
- collapse all threads (Collapse All Threads or Shift -)
Group 
This is the Group menu. Here you can: - view/configure general properties (Properties or Alt + Enter. We will see this feature later)
- view/configure default properties (Default Properties. We will see this feature later)
- subscribe/unsubscribe to a group (Subscribe or Ctrl+S. You can subscribe to some groups. In other words you can mark more interesting groups to retrieve them faster)
- show all groups, subscribed groups or only new groups (Show)
- delete a group (Delete)
- mark all messages in the selected groups as read (Mark Selected Groups Read)
- mark all groups read (Mark All Groups Read)
- purge all groups, subscribed groups or only new groups (Purge Newsgroups)
Message 
This is the Message menu. Here you can: - mark the selected messages for later retrieval (Mark for Retrieval or M)
- mark the selected thread to be watched. In other words mark all messages in the selected thread for later retrieval (Watch Thread or W)
- mark the selected thread to be ignored. In other words mark all messages in the selected thread for later retrieval (Ignore Thread or I)
- mark the selected messages to be kept (Keep or K)
- delete the selected messages. Messages marked to be kept won't be deleted (Delete or Del)
- delete the bodies for the selected messages. Messages marked to be kept won't be deleted (Delete Body)
- post a message to the server requesting that the message be canceled (Cancel Usenet Message)
- show all headers field (Show All Headers Field or H)
- mark the selected messages read (Mark Read)
- mark all messages read (Mark All Read)
- mark the selected message unread (Mark Unread)
- mark all messages unread (Mark All Unread)
Options 
This is the Options menu. Here you can: - set preferences for user, system, online, navigation and display. We will see this feature later (General Preferences)
- set preferences for posting messages. We will see this feature later (Posting Preferences)
- manage signatures (Signatures)
- arrange window layout (Window Layout)
- save the current window layout as default (Save As Default Window Layout)
Window 
This is the Window menu. Here you can arrange windows. Besides you can: - open a new browser. To see the opened browsers, I suggest you to arrange windows before. For example you could click on 'Cascade' and then open a new browser (Open New Browser)
- open the Out box (Open Outbox)
- open the Log window (Open Log)
