Creating a new messageYou can build a new message by means of the Message menu or pressing Ctrl-N keys or clicking on the new button. This is the window to build a new message:

Here you can specify the priority of the message
Here you can use a previously defined signature
Here you can specify how to encode your attachment. I suggest MIME
This is needed to send MIME Quoted Printable messages. It's helpful when you have long lines or special characters. I think this flag should always be on
To include an attachment as a separate file and not in the body of the message
To wrap long lines when the message is sent
If this flag is on, you will be able to put spaces in your message by pressing the <tab> key
If this flag is on, the message will remain in the Out mailbox after it is sent
If this flag is on, you will be notified when the message is delivered (the recipient will see a pop up dialog box asking a confirmation). So you will receive a notification when the recipient will read the message
You can send immediately a new message or queue it into the Out mailbox. So you will get a 'Send' button or a 'Queue' button here according to your specifications (you can change this setting on the Tools menu, clicking on Options/Sending Mail)
Here you can choose the Bold format
Here you can choose the Italics format
Here you can choose the Underline format
Here you can choose the text colors. You will get this window:
Here you can align on the left the selected text
Here you can center the selected text
Here you can align on the right the selected text
Here you can decrease the character size
Here you can enhance the character size
Here you can indent on the right the text
Here you can indent on the left the text
To clear all settings
This pop up menu will come out when you click the right button of the mouse. For example you can place the cursor into the To: field and then you can choose a recipient address by means of this menu. |
