How to set a program to run automatically when you connect a USB flash drive

You can set a program to start up automatically when you connect your USB flash drive to a computer. Just open notepad and write the following lines:

[autorun]
ShellExecute=filename
Label=anything you like
UseAutoPlay=1

Make sure you replace "filename" with the full path to the file. For example, a file called "myprogram.exe" in a folder called “myfolder” on the thumb drive would be \myfolder\myprogram.exe. Select “All Programs” from the save menu and save the file as autorun.inf. Done!
