If you want to copy some text form a web page, you can't highlight it and then copy and paste it to your favourite word processor. In fact, so you will copy formatted text too (fonts, colours, bolds, italic characters and so on). Anyway you can use this simple tricks to copy pure text only:

1) highlight text you want copy from and press Ctrl-C
2) open Notepad and paste what you copied before by pressing Ctrl-V
3) now highlight text again and press Ctrl-C
4) finally, open you favourite word processor and paste text again

Done! Notepad will transform text to plain text, Times New Roman 12-point letters, no colours, bold or italics characters
