What about those unclear names that your digital camera put to your photos? Don't panic: you can rename them simultaneously. Follow these easy steps:
1) open the folder containing all files you want to rename
2) select all by holding down the Shift key (if they are not adjacent in the file list, press and hold the Ctrl key)
3) right-click and select Rename
4) type the new name and press Enter
All files will be named in sequence using the new name you type and they will be numbered. If you want to specify the starting number for the series, just type the starting number in parentheses after the new file name
