Unfortunately, some programs (especially old ones) can't work if you log on as a user without administrator privileges. This is a security issue, because you should never logon as an administrator for everyday taks. To run such programs:
1) log on as a simple user (with low privileges)
2) right-click the application you want to run
3) choose 'run as'
4) type the administrator user and password
*ONLY* that application will run with administrator privileges. This method is similar to the 'sudo' command in Linux and Mac Os X
