How to reinstall Windows XP avoiding reactivation

Every time you reinstall Windows XP you have to activate your copy of Windows XP operating system. If you are building an unattended installation CD or you reinstall Windows XP often, the reactivation process can be a boring task. Avoiding that is easy:

1) go to the folder C: -> Windows -> System32
2) search for a file named 'wpa.dbl' and copy it in a floppy disk or an USB flash drive
3) reinstall Windows XP. On first reboot, copy the wpa.dbl file in the C:\Windows\System32 folder again

Warning: that works if you reinstall Windows XP on the *same* computer only. You must have a *LEGAL* copy of Windows XP installed in your computer and it must be *ALREADY ACTIVATED* through Microsoft
