A little tip to go to any folder in your hard disk with a click: place the whole hard disk on the Dock! Follow these steps:
1) open the Finder
2) click the 'your computer' icon (iMac-shaped icon, iBook-shaped icon or whateveroy you have) on the left
3) drag the 'Macintosh HD' icon on the right and drop it on the right side of the Dock separator
You are done! Remember that you can open a new Finder window clicking on your hard disk icon on the Dock but you can also Control-Click the icon or just hold down the mouse button for a while: a nice menu will pop up
