Mac Os X: selecting whole words inside a text

If you need to select a piece of text you can click anywhere and move the mouse of course, but you can also select *whole* words.
Double click to hilight a whole word then, **holding the mouse button down** drag the mouse to select contiguous words. Notice: you must not to release the mouse button until all words are hilighted
