Helpful command keys available during boot procedure:
C -> Boot from CD or DVD drive
D -> Boot from the internal disk drive
N -> Boot from a network server
R -> Resets the display to factory settings (PowerBooks and iBooks)
T -> Put the computer into FireWire target mode (so can be used as a hard drive)
X -> Boot into MacOS X
Option -> Chooses a disk to boot from
Shift ->Boot into Safe Mode
Shift-Option-Command-Delete -> Scan for an alternate boot device
Command-V -> Verbose boot, helpful to see BSD boot messages
Command-S -> Boot into single user
Option-Command-O-F -> Access Open Firmware
Option-Command-P-R -> Reset Open Firmware's NVRAM (aka "zapping" the PRAM)
Hold down mouse button -> Eject CDs and DVDs
