Thanks to the UNIX core beneath the Mac Os X Aqua GUI, you can schedule any activity by means of the cron UNIX command. Anyway, Mac Os X users, unlike *nix users, are not used to weird UNIX commands. Happily, you can take advantages of a very useful piece of software: Carbon Copy Cloner (CCC). By means of this tool, you can make bootable backups of your hard drive.
