How to change the desktop trash folder icon

After creating the desktop trash icon as suggested in a previous tip, you can change its standard folder icon to make it look like the standard trash icon.
To achieve that, select the trash folder on the desktop.

Command-I

Now click on the trash icon located on the dock

Command-I

Now you should be able to see two windows:
1) the trash icon information window
2) the folder icon information window

select the trash icon on the top of the trash icon information window

Command-C

Now select the folder icon on the top of the folder icon information window

Command-V

You are done.
